So here we are kicking off September with my first newborn session featured on the Journal. I originally planned to blog once a month, if not more… (oops to July and August!) The best laid plans, am I right?! I have so many sessions I can’t wait to share with you, as well as other fun updates, behind the scenes posts, and more! This Classic Blue and White Newborn Session in Richmond, VA ticks all the boxes. I’m seeing so many clients rely on color, texture and design to create a unique and stylish room, which I love. I’ve always said that you spend so much time in your baby’s room that it should be an extension of the personal style that is present throughout the rest of your home.
This family welcomed their son earlier this spring and their session made me immediately want to come home and redecorate. This classic blue and white newborn session was full of stylish nursery inspiration thanks to JTW Design and mama, Claire. Serena and Lilly wallpaper coupled with the coordinating blue paneling and heirloom touches brought a soft and elevated feel to baby Ford’s room. This little love slept pretty much the entire time, so it made our time go by super smoothly. I always love capturing those first few weeks of baby being at home. Add in a few cute dogs and you’ve got something pretty sweet. It was really a treat working with this family!
