I can personally attest to the beautiful chaos of adding a baby into the mix with an active toddler at home. Home sessions allow for more authentic family portraits, all while giving some of our littlest models a snack break. I really enjoyed Baby London’s neutral newborn session. My time with the Barrera’s was so fun as we documented this season for their family. Big Brother, Lorenzo’s playful energy kept us on our toes, but that’s the great thing about in-home sessions- you can pivot and flex to fit the needs of your family!  Morgan and Duke’s bedroom provided the softest morning light for these tender moments. Morgan is a photographer based out of Portsmouth, VA. Her sense of style, both in home decor and wardrobe, were spot on! Her West Elm bed has been on my wish list for years, y’all! She selected neutral-tones that complimented her space and provided a soft layer to her portraits. You can’t imagine how you could ever love someone as much as you do your first child…. And just like that,  that new baby is here and your heart just grows to accommodate that new love.
