Easter week played host to one of my busiest weeks of 2023 thus far. With three newborn sessions, a milestone session and this romantic spring maternity session at the Branch Museum of Architecture and Design, I was a busy lady! As I’ve mentioned, I have been trying to adopt a slower pace this year to make more time for things outside of work. Don’t get me wrong. I LOVE what I do, but stepping back to pour into other areas of my life, which are of utmost importance, ie: Faith, Family and Friends, has proved beyond rewarding. It makes me look forward to the busy spurts more, since I’m allowing myself to recharge between sessions.
Ellen is a past KPP mama and I have loved bonding with her and her husband, Billy, over the birth of their first daughter, Charlotte. I have been with them through newborn, milestones, pregnancy announcements and now a maternity session as they celebrate the upcoming arrival of their second little girl! As a double girl mom myself, of course, I am over the moon for them. The weather was perfect with a gentle breeze that not only lended itself to the occasional sneeze (thanks, pollen!), but some fun movement through Charlotte’s soft curls as she bounced around the courtyard of the Branch. Ellen’s bump hugging Petal and Pup dress complimented the blooming Dogwood trees perfectly. We’re counting down the days now until their next little love arrives. I can’t wait to share more!
